DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT AND TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL/LODGE
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative of our company, who will then transfer you to your accommodation at Airport Link Guest House for your relaxation and overnight stay.
DAY 2: TRAVEL TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Embark on an unforgettable safari journey to the picturesque Queen Elizabeth National Park, located in the Western region of Uganda’s Kasese district. The southern and western parts of Uganda are renowned for their stunning landscapes and panoramic views. The road trip to the park will provide an opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of the region, and remind us of the importance of conservation efforts.
Upon arrival, you will have the chance to relax and unwind before embarking on a community walk within the lodge’s environs. During the community walk, you will have the opportunity to interact with the local community, gaining insight into their ways of life and culture.
For your convenience and comfort, accommodation will be provided at the Bush Lodge. The Lodge is perfectly situated within the park’s environs, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the region, while also providing all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay.
DAY 3: EXPLORATION OF QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Embark on an exhilarating early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you will have the opportunity to witness a diverse array of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. To increase the chances of encountering the elusive lions, our experienced guides will lead you on a specialized lion tracking excursion.
To further enhance your exploration of the park, we also offer a two-hour boat ride on the Kazinga channel. During this scenic boat ride, you will have the chance to observe a variety of water-adapted animals and birds such as hippos, crocodiles, kingfishers, eagles, and monitor lizards.
After the boat ride, you will return to the Bush Lodge for a relaxing overnight stay.
DAY 4: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Experience the pinnacle of this safari with a journey to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
After breakfast, you will drive to the Ride 4 Woman lodge, where you relax in preparation for the next day’s activities.
DAY 5: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST
Begin your day with an awe-inspiring journey through the dense and steep hills of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park on a gorilla trekking excursion. This thrilling activity offers an unparalleled opportunity to come face-to-face with these majestic creatures in their natural habitat, surrounded by an abundance of rare and exotic flora.
Please note that this trek is challenging, involving hiking through steep ascents and navigating tangled trails. Once the gorillas are located, you will be granted a maximum of one hour to observe and admire these tranquil animals from a safe distance. This once-in-a-lifetime encounter will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on your visit to Uganda.
After the gorilla trek, you will return to back to the Ride 4 Woman Lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.
DAY 6: TRAVEL TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK FOR A WALKING SAFARI
Begin your day with an early departure from Bwindi and embark on a journey to the breathtaking Lake Mburo National Park, where you will have the opportunity to encounter an array of diverse wildlife. With over 60 species of mammals, including the elusive Impala, Burchell’s zebras, Buffalos, Warthogs, Hippos, Topis, Elands, and Hyenas, the park offers a unique and unparalleled wildlife experience.
Additionally, the park boasts an impressive avian population, featuring over 350 bird species, including the rare Shoe bill stork and African fin foot.
Along the way, you will enjoy Ugandan countryside, characterized by terraced hills, lush banana plantations, and herds of the indigenous long-horned Ankole cows. This journey is sure to be filled with memorable moments of exposure to nature’s beauty.
Upon entering the park in the evening, embark on a guided walking safari, where you will have the chance to observe a variety of animals, including zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, and several types of antelopes, from an up-close and personal perspective.

Along the way, you will make a brief but meaningful stop at the equator crossing, where you will have the opportunity to capture breathtaking photographs and participate in a variety of exciting and interactive experiments that are commonly associated with this iconic location.
Although these experiments have not been scientifically proven, they are both entertaining and educational to observe. One such experiment involves pouring water into a basin and observing how it flows in opposite directions in the northern and southern hemispheres of the equator line. This is a unique opportunity to witness the effects of the earth’s rotation and gain a deeper understanding of the world around us.
