Your safari will begin in Uganda where you will have the chance to experience moments with rhinos, explore the wildlife in Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth national parks, and track chimpanzees and the gentle giants of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the mountain gorillas.
After exploring Uganda, the safari extends to the Republic of Kenya to witness the Mara River where the great migration; which is one of the 7 known wonders of the world usually happens.
Next, you will explore northern Tanzania, where you will have the chance to experience more of the safari in Serengeti plains. Serengeti National Park boasts some of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the planet.
You will then continue on to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and experience more of the wonders of nature in the crater rim-often referred to as the home of mankind.
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport and transfer to the lodge
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be greeted by our dedicated staff member that will assist you with transferring to your comfortable and convenient accommodation at The Airport.

Day 2: Rhino tracking at Ziwa and travel to Murchison falls national park
We begin our thrilling safari through Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania on this day. You will rise early and embark on a 3-4 hours drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will have the opportunity
to observe these majestic white rhinos in their natural habitat. These impressive animals are known for their strength and power! You will observe them as they use their prized horns for digging and breaking tree branches.
After an unforgettable moment of tracking these magnificent creatures, you will continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, you will check in at the Fort
Murchison Lodge to relax and recharge.
Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat ride to the base of the falls
Today’s adventure begins with a game drive in the northern circuit, where you’ll encounter stunning rolling plains and a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalos, elephants, antelopes, spotted hyenas, and leopards.
In the afternoon, we invite you to join us on a boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking sight of the Nile as it flows through a narrow 7-meter gap and cascades down to the delta. The roar of the falls is truly a marvel to behold – don’t miss this incredible experience.
Your overnight stay will be at Fort Murchison Lodge.
Day 4: Visit the top of the falls and travel to Kibale forest national park
After breakfast, you will embark on the drive to Kibale forest national park. However, you will make a stop at the top of the Murchison Falls. Prepare to be awestruck as you witness the raw power of the Nile River as it plunges through a narrow crevice, creating the spectacular Murchison Falls. The force, sound, and speed of the water are truly a sight to behold.
After marveling at the falls, we will embark on a 5-hour journey to Kibale Forest National Park, where you can appreciate the authentic beauty of Uganda’s countryside.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the natural breeze and the sight of Blue monkeys and Black and White colobus monkeys. The surrounding forest and thickets are alive with the sounds of birds and animals, immersing you in the natural world.
Your overnight stay will be at the Kibale Forest Camp, a truly exceptional and one-of-a-kind tented camp. The self-contained safari tent provides a comfortable and authentic wilderness experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Kibale Forest.
Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest and travel to Queen Elizabeth national park
In the morning, you will enter Kibale Forest where you will have the opportunity to observe chimpanzees, our closest living relatives. With a DNA composition that is similar to humans, chimpanzees are known for their intelligence, sociability, and ability to use tools.
During your visit, you may see chimpanzees using rocks to crack open nuts, hollowing out water with empty pods, and even using sticks to capture termites from their mounds.
In addition to chimpanzees, Kibale Forest is home to a variety of other primates, including Colobus Monkeys and Mangabey, as well as a diverse array of birds (some of which are rare, threatened, or endemic), butterflies, flowers, and other insects.
After a rewarding visit to Kibale Forest, you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will have the chance to take in the breathtaking views of the Rwenzori mountain ranges.
Upon arrival, you will have an overnight stay at The Bush Lodge.
Day 6: Game drive/lion tracking in Kasenyi plains and an afternoon boat ride on Kazinga channel
Start your day early with a thrilling game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of animals such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and antelopes.
While sightings of lions during normal game drives can be limited, lion tracking offers a unique opportunity to enhance your chances of seeing these elusive cats. This activity allows you to get up close to a pride of unguarded lions and learn about their behavior from trained rangers and conservationists. It’s an exciting and unforgettable experience for the daring.
In the afternoon, you will embark on a two-hour boat ride (shared) along the Kazinga channel, where you can observe a range of water-adapted animals including hippos and crocodiles, as well as those that come to the banks to drink.
Your overnight stay will be at The Bush Lodge.
Day7: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park
After exploring the wildness of the Queen Elizabeth national park, you will embark on a scenic drive through the rolling-terraced hills and forests of the South Western region, which will take approximately 4-5 hours.
Upon arrival, you will have an overnight stay at Ride4 a Woman.
Day 8: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi forest national park
Experience an unforgettable encounter with gorillas in their natural habitat during a morning trek through the dense forests of Uganda. Upon reaching the gorillas, you will be given a maximum of one hour to observe and appreciate these peaceful animals in their surroundings.
After the trek, return to the Ride 4 a Woman for relaxation and overnight.
Day 9: Travel to Kampala for an overnight stay
After an incredible journey through Western, northern, and Southwestern Uganda, you will embark on your return road trip to Kampala. During this trip, you will traverse the rolling hills and mountains of the Kigezi and Ankole regions.
You will make a brief stop at the equator crossing, where you will have the opportunity to take photographs and participate in popular activities and experiments that are commonly done at this location. It’s important to note that these experiments have not been scientifically proven but they can be fun to watch.
Upon completing your visit at the equator monument, you will continue your drive to Kampala City for your overnight stay at Dolphin Suites-Kampala.
The travel time from Bwindi to Kampala is about 8-9 hours.
Day 10: Travel to Kenya with an overnight stay in Kisumu city
After a thrilling and action-packed journey through the wilds of Uganda, you will cross to the Republic of Kenya for yet another thrill of the safari in this exploration of the wonders of the East African region. Today’s activity will majorly be travel and sightseeing. After breakfast, we will embark on a 7 hours drive to Kisumu City, located in Western Kenya for an overnight stay.
Upon arrival, you’ll be well-rested and refreshed for the next day’s drive to Masai Mara, where you’ll have the chance to explore yet more of Africa’s incredible wildlife and landscapes.
Your accommodation will be at Acacia Premier.
Day 11: Transfer to Masai Mara for an evening game drive
After breakfast, you will embark on a 4-hour drive to Mara Conservation Reserve. This reserve is renowned for its diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival, it’s intended that you first have lunch at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, you will conduct a game drive in the Mara Triangle where you will see several animal species including the Wildebeests.
Your accommodation will be at Mara West (Tented Camp).
Day 12: Exploration of Maasai Mara
Experience the thrill of a lifetime as you spend a full day exploring the pristine wilderness of the Mara Conservation Reserve. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the park with morning and afternoon game drives. This is the perfect opportunity to witness the diversity of wildlife that inhabits the reserve.
You will also have the privilege of visiting the Mara River, a natural wonder where thousands of wildebeest cross the river every year in search of greener pastures between the Kenyan and Tanzanian border. Your night’s overstay will be at Mara West (Tented Camp).
Day 13: Travel to Tanzania via Sirari border with an overnight stay at Speke Bay
You will begin another exciting chapter in your Safari adventure as you leave the Masai Mara and cross into the neighboring republic of Tanzania.
After going through the Immigration protocols at the border, you will embark on 3 hours drive to Speke Bay where it’s planned that you spend an overnight stay.
Day 14: Transfer to Serengeti national park with an enroute game drive
Early morning, you will embark on a 2-hour drive to Serengeti national park. Owing to the vastness of the park and its wildlife endowment, you will conduct a game a game drive along the way to the lodge. You will therefore likely arrive by lunchtime at the lodge.
In the afternoon, you will again conduct another game drive to explore the park more.
Your overnight accommodation will be at Kontiki Africa.
Day 15: Full day of exploring Serengeti national park
A safari in Tanzania’s Serengeti may not be simply expressed by words or in tales! It should be experienced! You will rise early and immerse yourself in the natural beauty and diversity of this world-renowned reserve. Serengeti National Park is such a wonder, endowed naturally, vast, and has pristine wilderness.
As you traverse the park, you will be privy to an incredible spectacle of wildlife, as far as the eye can see. Imagine thousands upon thousands of majestic animals in herds, including the tall and graceful giraffes, the nimble and leaping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful and majestic African elephant, and the most respected group of animals, the predators.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the true wonder of nature and get up close and personal with some of the most magnificent creatures on earth.
Your overnight stay will be at Kontiki Africa.
Day 16: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater rim with an overnight stay in Karatu
Today, you will have the privilege of visiting the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater. You will embark on an early drive (4 hours) to Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival at the Crater’s rim, you will embark on a thrilling descent of 610 meters into the Crater, where your safari truly comes to life. The Crater is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, eland, Grants and Thomson’s gazelle, and the majestic giant tusked elephants. It is also known to have the largest known population of lions as well as other big cats such as leopards and cheetahs, as well as scavengers like hyenas, jackals, and the elusive wild dogs.
After driving through the caldera, we will make our way to the Ngorongoro Marera Mountain
View Lodge where you will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 17: Drive to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight
After a relaxed breakfast, you will embark on 4 hour’s drive to Kilimanjaro international airport
for your departure flight.
