DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND TRANSFER TO THE

Welcome to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa! Upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by a member of our staff, who will then transfer you to the lodge where you can rest and prepare for your upcoming safari.

DAY 2: TRAVEL TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK WITH RHINO TRACKING AT ZIWA
We are excited to welcome you to the beautiful and awe-inspiring Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will have the rare opportunity to observe these majestic white rhinos in their natural habitat. These impressive animals are known for their strength and power, using their prized horns for digging and breaking branches.
After an unforgettable moment of tracking these magnificent creatures, you will continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, where you will be staying at the Fort Murchison Lodge to relax and recharge after a thrilling day of exploring the wonders of the natural world.
DAY 3: EXPLORATION OF MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Your adventure begins with a game drive in the northern circuit, where you’ll encounter stunning rolling plains and a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalos, elephants, antelopes, spotted hyenas, wild cats, and leopards.
In the afternoon, we invite you to join us on a boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking sight of the Nile as it flows through a narrow 7-meter gap and cascades down to the delta. The roar of the falls is truly a marvel to behold – don’t miss this incredible experience.

DAY 4: EXPERIENCE THE TOP OF THE FALLS AND TRAVEL TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Experience the natural beauty and power of the mighty Murchison Falls at the southern sector of the park. The force of the Nile rushing through a narrow gap in the rocks is awe-inspiring and only for the brave.
After marveling at the falls, we will embark on a 5-hour journey to Kibale Forest National Park, where you can appreciate the authentic beauty of Uganda’s countryside.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the natural breeze and the sight of Blue monkeys and Black and White colobus monkeys. The surrounding forest and thickets are alive with the sounds of birds and animals, immersing you in the natural world.
Your overnight stay will be at the Kibale Forest Camp, a truly exceptional and one-of-a-kind tented camp. The self-contained safari tent provides a comfortable and authentic wilderness experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Kibale Forest.
DAY 5: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING IN KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK AND TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
On this day you will have the opportunity to observe chimpanzees, our closest living relatives. With a DNA composition that is 98.7% similar to humans, chimpanzees are known for their intelligence, sociability, and ability to use tools. During your visit, you may see chimpanzees using rocks to crack open nuts, hollowing out water with empty pods, and even using sticks to capture termites from their mounds.
In addition to chimpanzees, Kibale Forest is home to a variety of other primates, including Colobus Monkeys and Mangabey, as well as a diverse array of birds (some of which are rare, threatened, or endemic), butterflies, flowers, and other insects.
After a rewarding visit to Kibale Forest, you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will have the chance to take in the breathtaking views of the Rwenzori mountain ranges.
Upon arrival, you will have an overnight stay at The Bush Lodge.
DAY 6: MORNING GAMEDRIVE/LION TRACKING AND AFTERNOON BOAT RIDE ON KAZINGA CHANNEL
Experience the thrill of tracking lions up close during an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you will also have the opportunity to see a variety of other animals such as elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and antelopes. The guides and conservationists will provide you with insights into the behavior and habits of these majestic creatures, making this a truly unforgettable experience.
In the afternoon, take a 2-hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel and observe a variety of water-adapted animals and birds, including hippos, crocodiles, kingfishers, eagles, and monitor lizards. After your boat ride, return to The Bush Lodge for relaxation and a comfortable overnight stay.
DAY 7: TRAVEL TO BWINDI FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Welcome to Bwindi Forest National Park! We hope you are excited to start your journey through this beautiful and bio diverse region.
After a leisurely breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive through the rolling-terraced hills and forests of the South Western region, which will take approximately 3-4 hours.
Upon arrival, you will have an overnight stay at Ride 4 A Woman.
DAY 8: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST
Experience an unforgettable encounter with gorillas in their natural habitat during a morning trek through the dense forests of Uganda. Upon reaching the gorillas, you will be given a maximum of one hour to observe and appreciate these peaceful animals in their surroundings.
After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

DAY 9: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK FOR A WALKING SAFARI
Get ready for another unforgettable encounter with the wilds of Uganda as you depart from Bwindi early in the morning and head to Lake Mburo National Game Park. This stunning park is home to over 60 species of mammals, including impalas, Burchell’s zebras, buffalos, warthogs, hippos, leopards, topis, elands, as well as over 350 species of birds.
As you journey to Lake Mburo National Game Park, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the breathtaking beauty of Uganda’s countryside, with its terraced hills, vast banana plantations, and herds of indigenous Ankole cows. This is a journey filled with unforgettable moments and exposure to nature at its finest.
Upon arrival at Lake Mburo National Game Park, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax and unwind at the Eagles Nest-(Safari Tent). Don’t miss this chance to explore the wonders of Lake Mburo National Game Park and experience the best of Uganda’s natural beauty.
DAY 10: MORNING WALKING SAFARI AND TRAVEL TO ENTEBBEFOR DEPARTURE FLIGHT WITH ENROUTE STOPOVER AT THE EQUATOR MONUMENT
Start your day off right with an early morning walking safari through the park, where you’ll have the opportunity to see a variety of animals at close range, including zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, and many types of antelopes. This is a unique and exciting way to explore the natural world and get up close and personal with some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife.
After your walking safari, embark on the drive to Entebbe town. Along the way, make a brief stop at the equator crossing to take some memorable photos and participate in fun, albeit untested, experiments such as observing how water swirls in opposite directions in the northern and southern hemispheres of the equator line.
Upon completing your visit at the equator monument, you will continue your drive to Entebbe Airport, where we recommend booking a departure flight that leaves between 4:00-6:00 PM.
