Explore Uganda’s Gorillas, Wildlife and Kigali City
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by the company staff member who will transfer you to your hotel/lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.

Today, set off early to explore Uganda and have experience of the natural wonders that make Uganda the pearl of Africa! We will use this day to travel to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive time from Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park is about 7-8 hours including time spent at the Rhino sanctuary and lunch break.
Along the way, we have a detour at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to experience life with the white rhinos. We will be looking out for moments as rhinos charge and use their prized horns to dig the ground and as well break tree branches.
After tracking the rhinos, you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park and upon arrival at the planned accommodation facility; you will relax, have dinner and enjoy your overnight sleep.
Accommodation at Fort Murchison
This day of your Safari gets you to encounter with the natural establishment of Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison Falls National Park is greatly endowed with animals, birds, the Nile River and forests that will certainly give you beautiful lasting memories about wildlife.
You begin your exploration of the park with a game drive in the northern circuit of the park. There, you encounter beautiful rolling plains. While in these plains you may spot Lions, Giraffes, Buffalos, and Elephants, Antelopes and Hippopotami, Spotted hyenas, lions, and leopard as well as many of the other mammals of the park. For the birders, this park supports the Secretary Bird, Black-chested Snake Eagle, Tawny and Martial Eagles Carmine and Swallow-tailed Bee-Eaters among others.
In the afternoon, you go for a boat ride to the bottom of Murchison Falls where the Nile thunders through a small 7-meter gap down to the delta. This experience is breath taking and should not to be missed.

Today, embark on the journey in the morning to Kibale Forest National Park and this is a long drive which takes about 7-8 hours.
Along the way, you enjoy views of beautiful sceneries like the Rift valley escarpment on Lake Albert. Also, this journey gives you an opportunity to have an insight about the typical African village setup in the far countryside and various plantations.
Accommodation at Kibale Forest Camp
This day starts with an opportunity to encounter with Man’s closest cousins-chimpanzees in the forest of Kibale. The forest is only accessible on foot and the walk will provide you with the opportunity to also see a variety of other primates as well as birds and a variety of butterflies, and insects. Chimpanzees are the closest relatives to humans sharing about 98.7% of their DNA composition with humans. They are sociable, intelligent as well as communicative and among their very interesting traits are their abilities to utilize tools like rocks for crushing nuts, empty pods for hollowing out water plus sticks for capturing termites from their holes.
After a successful track of chimpanzees, you will leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park and along the way; you will enjoy the spectacular views of the splendid Rwenzori ranges.
Overnight stay at The Bush Lodge
You start this day’s activities by having a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This activity focuses on giving you personal encounter with the wilderness of Queen Elizabeth National Park. During the game drive in the Kasenyi plains, you will see various animals such as Elephants, Buffaloes and Antelopes. Spotting cats (lions & leopards) comes with luck. It's therefore very advisable that you opt in for the lion experiential tracking to increase your chances of spotting the Big Five of Africa. (A fee of $500 is charged per person, and is not included in the quoted tour price).
In the afternoon take a shared boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel- a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. It is intended to give you desirable relaxation and we believe it will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari because of the abundant bird life and animals that are sighted.
Overnight stay at The Bush Lodge
After a relaxed breakfast, you will travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the highlight of this safari which is gorilla trekking. Bwindi is home to almost half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world and your encounter with these gentle giants will certainly give you lasting memories about your safari.
On arrival at the lodge, you will check in and relax in preparation for the next day’s activities.
Accommodation at Ride 4 A Woman
Early morning, you will go gorilla trekking. This amazing activity takes you through the densely forested steep hills until you finally meet these tranquil gorillas within the green plant cover. It is such a wonderful yet memorable encounter. The canopy will envelop you completely with rare and exotic flora found on every side. This is a challenging trek since it involves hiking through steep ascents and tangled trails.
Once gorillas are identified, you will have one hour within their vicinity and then after walk out of the dense forest. Your time with the gorillas will certainly create a long-lasting memory about your visit to Uganda.
Accommodation at Ride 4 A Woman
On this day of your safari, you will leave Uganda and transfer to the Republic of Rwanda through the Northern Province. This northern district of Rwanda has spectacular views especially those of the Virunga Mountains. You will drive through Ruhengeri and Musanze and along the way; you will enjoy beautiful scenery of the country side which comprises of rolling hills.
Upon arrival in Kigali city, you will embark on discovering this city by taking a city tour. Particular places expected to be visited will include the Genocide Memorial and Camp Kigali. Visiting the genocide memorial will give you an insight about the negative consequences related to Africa’s civil wars.
Overnight stay at Eagle View Lodge
After having spent a peaceful and comfortable night in Kigali city, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport to enable you catch up with your flight back home or to your next destination. We recommend booking a flight that departs Kigali not later than 13:00 hrs.
