East Africa Adventure: Explore Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya & Tanzania

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Upon landing at Kigali International Airport, our staff will warmly greet you and transfer you to your hotel. If you arrive in the morning, enjoy a city tour, visiting sites like the Genocide Memorial, local markets, and craft centers. Overnight at Five to Five Hotel.

Day 2: Cultural Experience in Northern Rwanda

Today, drive 2 hours to Rwanda’s Northern Province, with views of the stunning Virunga Mountains. In Ruhengeri, experience the Ibyacu cultural village, where you'll meet locals, experience traditional dances, and learn about Banyarwanda traditions. Overnight at Gorilla Solutions Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi, Uganda

After breakfast, embark on a scenic 4-5 hour drive to Bwindi, Uganda. Along the way, take in the breathtaking terraced hills of Rwanda and Uganda. Upon arrival, rest at Gorilla Valley Lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Start early for your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Spend up to an hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat. Return to Gorilla Valley Lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 5: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, journey through the scenic hills and forests of southwestern Uganda, a 4-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Overnight at Bush Lodge.

Day 6: Game Drive and Boat Ride in Queen Elizabeth

Begin your day with a game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you'll spot elephants, antelopes, and perhaps even lions. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, witnessing hippos, crocodiles, and other wildlife. Overnight at Bush Lodge.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest

After a 2-hour drive, arrive at Kibale Forest, home to chimpanzees. Spend the afternoon trekking to observe these intelligent primates. Overnight at Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 8: Journey to Murchison Falls

Travel 5 hours to Murchison Falls National Park, stopping at the top of the falls to witness the Nile's powerful flow through a narrow gorge. Overnight at Fort Murchison.

Day 9: Game Drive and Boat Ride at Murchison Falls

Take a morning game drive through the northern circuit, home to lions, elephants, and more. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride to the base of the falls, marveling at the Nile’s roar. Overnight at Fort Murchison.

Day 10: Rhino Tracking at Ziwa and Travel to Kampala

Drive 3 hours to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an up-close encounter with white rhinos. Continue to Kampala for an overnight stay at Dolphin Suites.

Day 11: Travel to Kisumu, Kenya

Depart Uganda and cross into Kenya. After a 7-hour drive, arrive in Kisumu for an overnight stay at Acacia Premier.

Day 12: Transfer to Masai Mara

After breakfast, embark on a 4-hour drive to Masai Mara. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Mara Triangle. Overnight at Mara West (Tented Camp).

Day 13: Full-Day Exploration of Masai Mara

Spend a full day on game drives in Masai Mara, including a visit to the Mara River, famous for the wildebeest migration. Overnight at Mara West (Tented Camp).

Day 14: Travel to Tanzania via Sirari Border

Cross into Tanzania and drive 3 hours to Speke Bay for an overnight stay.

Day 15: Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Drive 2 hours to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy an en-route game drive before arriving at your lodge. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive. Overnight at Kontiki Africa.

Day 16: Serengeti National Park Exploration

Spend the day exploring the Serengeti, witnessing large herds of wildlife and spotting predators like lions and cheetahs. Overnight at Kontiki Africa.

Day 17: Visit Ngorongoro Crater

Travel to Ngorongoro Crater, descending 610 meters into the caldera to see a diverse range of wildlife, including endangered black rhinos. Overnight at Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge.

Day 18: Departure from Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, drive 4 hours to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight.
