Adventurous Safari through Magical Uganda and Rwanda
Welcome to Uganda! Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, our friendly staff will greet you and assist with your transfer to the comfortable Airport Link Guest House in Entebbe.
After breakfast, our team will pick you up for an early morning journey to Kapchorwa. Enjoy a 3-hour hike at the stunning Sipi Falls, a revitalizing outdoor adventure. In the evening, participate in a community walk to learn about the traditional lifestyle of the Sebei people.
You’ll stay overnight at the eco-friendly Lacam Lodge.
The third day of this Safari will be spent traversing the vast plains and semi-arid savannah of North Eastern Uganda with a motive of reaching Kidepo Valley National Park. Observing that this is quite a long journey, you will reach the park in the evening and check in at your lodge. Kidepo Valley National Park is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa with a landscape of small hills, rocky outcrops and inselbergs.
The temperatures in Kidepo are usually high, and this will certainly give you a good taste of adventure. While in Kidepo you can get stunning panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and wildlife such as Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson’s Hartebeest, and Klipspringer among others.
The Park is renowned for its exceptional variety of birds of prey. While there it is likely that you can spot Ostriches, Kori Bustards, Pygmy Falcons, Verreaux’s Eagles, Egyptian Vultures, Abyssinian ground Hornbills among others. While on the way, you will enjoy the beautiful views of the landscape and the wild game animals in the Pian Upe game reserve.

Explore Kidepo Valley National Park with a morning game drive in the Narus Valley, where you might see elephants, lions, and unique species.
In the afternoon, engage with the Karamojong people at a local homestead, learning about their traditional way of life.
You’ll stay overnight at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.
Today, we’ll head south to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest national park, known for its diverse wildlife. Enjoy a scenic drive through Gulu and check in at the lodge upon arrival.
Murchison Falls is Uganda’s largest national park and is a home to over 400 birds’ species. The Park is also endowed with several attractions including mammal species with four members of the big five, the lion, the leopards, the elephants, and the Buffaloes.
Other species include bushbucks, Uganda kob, waterbucks, warthogs, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, hyenas, hippos and crocodiles among other resident creatures.

This day of your Safari gets you to encounter with the natural establishment of Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison Falls National Park is greatly endowed with animals, birds, the Nile River and forests that will certainly give you beautiful lasting memories about wild life.
You will begin your exploration of the park with a game drive in the northern circuit of the park. There you will encounter beautiful rolling plains. While in these plains you may view Lions, Giraffes, Hartebeest, Buffalos, Elephants, Bushbuck, Hippopotami, Spotted hyenas, Wild cat, lion, leopard as well as many of the other mammals of the park. For the birders, this area supports the Secretary Bird, Black-chested Snake Eagle, Tawny and Martial Eagles Carmine and Swallow-tailed Bee-Eaters among others.
In the afternoon, you will go for a boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls where the Nile thunders through a small 7-meter gap down to the delta. This experience is breath taking and should not to be missed! The banks of the Nile are home to many species. You may see huge Nile Crocodiles, Hippos and other wildlife that may come down to drink from this mighty river.

After breakfast, you embark on 3 hours of road drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will have the rare opportunity to observe these majestic white rhinos in their natural habitat. These impressive animals are known for their strength and power, using their prized horns for digging and breaking branches.
After an unforgettable moment of tracking these magnificent creatures, you will continue your journey to Hoima City.

Journey to Kibale Forest National Park, where you'll enjoy the lush beauty and diverse wildlife. In the evening, embark on a 2–3-hour nature walk in the Bigodi community to interact with locals and learn about their daily lives.

Start your day with an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest. After this, we’ll travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll stay at Bush Lodge for the night.
You start the day with a game drive which will expose you to a variety of different animal species which are habitat to this park. The Park has several spots of well-maintained game viewing tracks where there are high chances of seeing animals such as elephants, buffaloes, lions and a variety of antelopes among others.
In the afternoon, you enjoy a boat cruise on the spectacular Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward to Lake George. The boat ride along the banks will give you an opportunity to see yawning hippos in water and you will see large herds of Uganda kob drinking water with their black and white spiraled horns making it suitable for fabulous photos. You will also be in position to see Nile crocodiles sunbathe on the banks while elephants disappear beneath the water poking their trunks up like snorkels. Spending the day on a boat safari is a very relaxed introduction to a true African safari as you can just sit back and absorb all of the encounters along the water.
Relax overnight at Bush Lodge.
Today, embark on an exciting morning search for the famous tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The tree climbing lions are normally seen resting in branches of fig trees cunningly waiting to pounce on the small animals such as antelopes, mongoose and others. The game drive within this sector will certainly avail you with this thrilling opportunity.

Travel to the breathtaking Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, for the highlight of your trip- gorilla trekking. Upon arrival Check in at the lodge and prepare for an unforgettable experience.
Overnight stay at Ride 4 A Woman
Early morning, go for gorilla trekking. This amazing activity takes you through the densely forested steep hills until you finally meet these tranquil gorillas within the green plant cover.
Gorilla trekking groups are assigned on fitness levels, so you can request a shorter or longer hike depending on your preferences. For many, the chance to travel in such exotic forest makes a longer hike worthwhile with some troops four hours away from the trailhead. Others might prefer to meet the gorilla troop closest to the trailhead.
This challenging hike rewards you with a one-hour encounter with these magnificent creatures. Your time with the gorillas will certainly create a long-lasting memory about your visit to Uganda

Depart Uganda for Rwanda, enjoying the scenic views of the Virunga Mountains. In Ruhengeri, experience local culture through presentations by Ibyacu, where you’ll enjoy traditional songs and dances.
Overnight at Muhabura Hotel.
Explore the vibrant city of Kigali with a guided tour, visiting key sites like the Genocide Memorial and Kandt National Museum. This tour will enhance your understanding of Rwanda’s history and transformation. Relax at Five-to-Five Hotel-Remera for the night.
After a restful night in Kigali, we’ll transfer you to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight. We recommend scheduling a flight that departs before noon to ensure a smooth end to your safari.

This safari package takes you on a captivating journey through East Africa’s stunning landscapes and pristine natural reserves, as you explore the enchanting destinations of Uganda and Tanzania. The safari begins in Uganda. You start with the experience of tracking Rhinos, you explore Murchison Falls National Park, cross to Kibale for an interface with the chimpanzees and the locals of Bigodi Community, go on to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park, cross to Bwindi for an interface with the mountain gorillas and then take a walk in Lake Mburo National Park.

After exploring Uganda, you will cross over to Northern Tanzania, where you will explore Ngorongoro Conservation Area, have an experience in the crater rim, often referred to as the "home of mankind." You will also explore Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Serengeti national parks, which boast some of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the planet.
