This safari package takes you on a captivating journey through East Africa’s stunning landscapes and pristine natural reserves, as you explore the enchanting destinations of Uganda and Tanzania. Immerse yourself in the splendour of this region, where remarkable scenery, abundant wildlife, and unforgettable experiences await.
The safari begins in Uganda. You start with the experience of tracking Rhinos, you explore Murchison Falls National Park, cross to Kibale for an interface with the chimpanzees and the locals of Bigodi Community, go on to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park, cross to Bwindi for an interface with the mountain gorillas and then take a walk in Lake Mburo National Park.

After exploring Uganda, you will cross over to Northern Tanzania, where you will explore Ngorongoro Conservation Area, have an experience in the crater rim, often referred to as the "home of mankind." You will also explore Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Serengeti national parks, which boast some of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the planet.

Upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received by a member of our staff, who will then transfer you to the lodge for your relaxation and overnight stay.
Overnight stay at Airport Link Guest House
After breakfast, you will embark on 3 hours of road drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will have the rare opportunity to observe these majestic white rhinos in their natural habitat. These impressive animals are known for their strength and power, as well their prized horns that they use for digging and breaking tree branches.
After tracking these magnificent creatures, you will continue with your journey (for another 3 hours) to Murchison Falls National Park.
Accommodation will be at Fort Murchison Lodge.
Your adventure begins with a game drive in the northern circuit, where you'll encounter stunning rolling plains and a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalos, and elephants, antelopes, spotted hyenas, wild cats, and leopards.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a shared boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Here, you'll have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking sight of the Nile as it flows through a narrow 7-meter gap and cascades down to the delta. The roar of the falls is truly a marvel to behold.
Overnight stay will be at either Fort Murchison
After breakfast, you will embark on a 7-hour journey to Kibale Forest National Park. On the way to Kibale you will enjoy the beautiful views of Uganda's landscape and the countryside.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the natural breeze and the sight of blue monkeys and Black and White colobus monkeys. The surrounding forest and thickets are alive with the sounds of birds and animals, immersing you in the natural world.
In the evening, you will have an interaction with the locals of the Bigodi community. You'll gain valuable insights into the daily activities and experiences of the local people, including a glimpse into the process of making traditional brew and the chance to stroll through lush plantations. This is an enriching opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture and gain a deeper understanding of the people and their way of life.
Overnight stay at Kibale Forest Camp
Early morning, you will have the chance to encounter the fascinating chimpanzees of Kibale Forest, our closest relatives sharing 98.7% of our DNA composition. These intelligent and sociable primates are known for their use of tools, including use of rocks to crush nuts, use of empty pods for collecting water, and use of sticks to capture termites.
In addition to being a habitat to chimpanzees, Kibale Forest is home to a variety of other primates, including Colobus Monkeys and Mangabey, as well as a diverse array of birds (some of which are rare, threatened, or endemic), butterflies, flowers, and other insects.
After a rewarding visit to Kibale Forest, you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will have the chance to take in the breathtaking views of the Rwenzori Mountain ranges.
Overnight at The Bush Lodge
Start your day early with a thrilling game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of animals such as Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, and Antelopes.
In the afternoon, take a 2-hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel and observe a variety of water-adapted animals and birds, including hippos, crocodiles, kingfishers, eagles, and monitor lizards. After your boat ride, return to The Bush Lodge for overnight stay.
After a leisurely breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive through the rolling-terraced hills and forests of the South Western region to Bwindi. The drive to Bwindi takes about 4-5 hours.
Overnight stay at Ride For A Woman
Experience an unforgettable encounter with gorillas in their natural habitat during a morning trek through the dense forests of Uganda. Upon reaching the gorillas, you will be given a maximum of one hour to observe and appreciate these peaceful animals in their surroundings.
After a fulfilling day of exploration, you will return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.
Accommodation at Ride For A Woman
After breakfast, you depart from Bwindi and head to Lake Mburo National Game Park. This stunning park is home to over 60 species of mammals, including impalas, Burchell's zebras, buffalos, warthogs, hippos, leopards, topis, elands, as well as over 350 species of birds.
As you journey to Lake Mburo National Game Park, you'll have the opportunity to experience the breathtaking beauty of Uganda's countryside, with its terraced hills, vast banana plantations, and herds of indigenous Ankole cows.
Upon arrival at Lake Mburo National Park, you'll enjoy a walking safari through the park, where you'll have the opportunity to see a variety of animals at close range, including zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, and many types of antelopes. This is a unique and exciting way to explore the natural world and get up close and personal with some of Africa's most iconic wildlife.
Overnight stay at Eagles Nest
After a relaxed breakfast, you will embark on 6 hours’ drive to Entebbe town. Along the way, make a brief stop at the equator crossing to take some memorable photos and participate in fun, albeit untested, experiments such as observing how water swirls in opposite directions in the northern and southern hemispheres of the equator line.
Overnight stay will be at Airport Link Guest House
On this day, you will be transferred to Entebbe Airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro airport-Tanzania. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be warmly received by our partner (Tour Operator) based in Arusha and immediately embark on 2 hours’ drive to the lodge in Arusha.
Overnight stay at Under the Shade Safari Lodge
You will set off early for an exciting full-day game drive in the Tarangire National Park. This little-known gem is a must-see destination for those who wish to appreciate the beauty and serenity of wilderness. The Park takes its name from the Tarangire River, which is the only source of water during the dry season.
Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population and is also home to a wide variety of other wildlife including zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, waterbuck, baboons, dwarf mongoose, impala, buffalo, antelope, and fringe-eared Oryx. The Park also boasts a healthy population of predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
Overnight stay at Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge
Today, you will have the privilege of visiting the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival at the Crater's rim, you will embark on a thrilling descent of 610 meters into the Crater, where your safari truly comes to life. The Crater is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, eland, Grant's and Thomson's gazelle, and the majestic giant tusked elephants. It is also known to have the largest known population of lions as well as other big cats such as leopards and cheetahs, as well as scavengers like hyenas, jackals, and the elusive wild dogs.
After driving through the caldera, we will make our way to Serengeti National Park. However, we will have a detour visit to a Masai village to have a cultural experience of the Masai people within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Your overnight stay will be at Kontiki Africa.
This day will be spent immersing yourself in the natural beauty and diversity of this world-renowned reserve, as you conduct both morning and afternoon game drives in the vast and pristine wilderness of the Serengeti National Park.
As you traverse the park, you will be privy to an incredible spectacle of wildlife, as far as the eye can see. Imagine thousands upon thousands of majestic animals in herds, including the tall and graceful giraffes, the nimble and leaping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful and majestic African elephant, and the most respected group of animals, the predators.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness the true wonder of nature and get up close and personal with some of the most magnificent creatures on earth.

Today, you will have another opportunity to delve deeper into the wonders of Serengeti National Park by conducting a game drive. There's always more to discover and witness in the Serengeti.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Seronera Airstrip for a domestic flight to Kilimanjaro airport for your international departure flight. We recommend booking a flight that departs Kilimanjaro Airport between 17:00 and 18:00.
