A) RWANDA
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali international airport and transfer to the hotel
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our company staff member who will transfer you to the hotel in Kigali.
In case your arrival time is in the morning, you will go for a city tour around Kigali and visit various places including the Genocide memorial grounds, local markets and craft centers.
Your relaxation and overnight stay will be at Five to Five Hotel
Day 2: Travel to the northern province of Rwanda for Ibyacu cultural experience
On this day of your safari, you will leave Kigali and drive for 2 hours to the Northern Province of Rwanda. This northern district of Rwanda has spectacular views especially those of the Virunga Mountains.
On arrival in Ruhengeri, you enjoy cultural experience of Ibyacu where you will get a chance to meet local people in their local environment, taste the cultural and traditional lifestyles which include the daily life activities and artifacts. You will be welcomed by local songs and cultural dances which proudly present different aspects of traditions, norms and ways of living of the Banyarwanda. Your overnight stay will be at the Gorilla Solutions Lodge
Day 3: Travel to Bwindi- Uganda
After a restful night in the tranquil city of Kigali, you will embark on an invigorating 4-5-hours’ journey to the breathtaking Bwindi region. As you travel, you will be treated to stunning vistas of the scenic terrain, characterized by its picturesque terraced hills, providing a visual feast for the eyes. This drive is a great opportunity to take in the beauty of Rwanda and Uganda and to fully immerse yourself in the natural splendor of the area.
Upon arrival, you will have an overnight stay at Gorilla Valley Lodge.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest
Early in the morning, you will embark on your gorilla trekking adventure. This unique activity takes you through densely forested, steep hills until you finally meet these tranquil giants.
Once gorillas are located, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour at their vicinity, before walking out of the dense forest.
Gorilla trekking time is usually between 2-6 hours, but may even be longer depending on the behavior of the gorillas and their interactions with other gorilla families.
After gorilla tracking, you get back to the Gorilla Valley Lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Travel to Queen Elizabeth national park
After a leisurely breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive through the rolling-terraced hills and forests of the South Western region, which will take approximately 4 hours.
Upon arrival, you will have an overnight stay at the Bush Lodge.
Day 6: Game drive/lion tracking in Kasenyi plains and afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga channel
Early morning, you will conduct a game drive in the Kasenyi plains where you will see various animals such as Elephants, Buffaloes and Antelopes. Lions are elusive cats and chances of sighting them during the normal game drives are limited. To enhance the chances of sighting them, you will track lions during the game drive in Kasenyi plains.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat cruise on the spectacular Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward to Lake George. The boat ride along the banks will give you an opportunity to see yawning hippos in water and you will see large herds of Uganda kob drinking water with their black and white spiraled horns making it suitable for fabulous photos. You will also be in position to see Nile crocodiles sunbathe on the banks while elephants disappear beneath the water poking their trunks up like snorkels.
After the day’s activities, you will enjoy your overnight stay at the Bush Lodge.
Day 7: Transfer to Kibale forest for an afternoon chimpanzee tracking
After breakfast, you will leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive for about 2 hours to Kibale forest. Along the way; you will enjoy the spectacular views of the splendid Rwenzori ranges.
In the afternoon, you will enter Kibale forest to have an opportunity to encounter with Man’s closest cousins-chimpanzees in the forest of Kibale. The forest is only accessible on foot and the walk will provide you with the opportunity to also see a variety of other primates as well as birds and a variety of butterflies, and insects. Chimpanzees are the closest relatives to humans sharing about 98.7% of their DNA composition with humans. They are sociable, intelligent as well as communicative and among their very interesting traits are their abilities to utilize tools like rocks for crushing nuts, empty pods for hollowing out water plus sticks for capturing termites from their holes.
Your overnight stay will be at Kibale Forest Camp.
Day 8: Travel to MurchisonFalls national park with a visit to the top of the falls
After breakfast, you will embark on a 5-hour journey to MurchisonFalls National Park, where you can appreciate the authentic beauty of Uganda’s countryside.
However, you will make a stop at the top of the Murchison Falls. Prepare to be awestruck as you witness the raw power of the Nile River as it plunges through a narrow crevice, creating the spectacular Murchison Falls. The force, sound and speed of the water is truly a sight to behold.
After marveling at the falls, you will proceed with your drive to the lodge at Fort Murchison.
Day 9: Morning game drive and afternoon boat ride to the base of the falls
Today’s adventure begins with a game drive in the northern circuit, where you’ll encounter stunning rolling plains and a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalos, elephants, antelopes, spotted hyenas, and leopards.
In the afternoon, we invite you to join us on a boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking sight of the Nile as it flows through a narrow 7-meter gap and cascades down to the delta. The roar of the falls is truly a marvel to behold – don’t miss this incredible experience. Your overnight stay will be at Fort Murchison.
Day 10: Travel to Kampala for an overnight stay with rhino tracking at Ziwa
Early morning, you will embark on a 3 hours’ drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will have the rare opportunity to observe these majestic white rhinos in their natural habitat. These impressive animals are known for their strength and power, using their prized horns for digging and breaking branches.
After an unforgettable moment of tracking these magnificent creatures, you will continue your journey to Kampala for your overnight stay at Dolphin Suites.
Day 11: Travel to Kenya with an overnight stay in Kisumu city
After a thrilling and action-packed journey through the wilds of Uganda, you will cross to the Republic of Kenya for yet another thrill of exploring wildlife in the East African region. After breakfast, we will embark on a 7 hours’ drive to Kisumu City, located in Western Kenya for an overnight stay.
You’ll be well-rested and refreshed for the next day’s drive to Masai Mara, where you’ll have the chance to explore yet more of Africa’s incredible wildlife and landscapes.
Your accommodation will be at Acacia Premier.
Day 12: Transfer to Masai Mara for an evening game drive
After breakfast, you will embark on 4 hours’ drive to Mara Conservation Reserve. This reserve is renowned for its diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival it’s intended that you first have lunch at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, you will conduct a game drive in the Mara Triangle where you will see several animal species including the Wildebeests.
Your accommodation will be at Mara West (Tented Camp).
Day 13: Exploration of Maasai Mara
Experience the thrill of a lifetime as you spend a full day exploring the pristine wilderness of the Mara Conservation Reserve. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the park with a morning and afternoon game drives. This is the perfect opportunity to witness the diversity of wildlife that inhabits the reserve.
You will also have the privilege of visiting the Mara River, a natural wonder where thousands of wildebeest cross the river every year in search of greener pastures between the Kenyan and Tanzanian border. Your night’s overstay will be at Mara West (Tented Camp).
Day 14: Travel to Tanzania via Sirari border with an overnight stay at Speke Bay
After breakfast, you will begin another exciting chapter in your Safari adventure as you leave the Masai Mara and cross into the neighboring republic of Tanzania.
After going through the Immigration protocols at the border, you will embark on 3 hours’ drive to Speke Bay where it’s planned that you spend an overnight stay.
Day 15: Transfer to Serengeti national park with an enroute game drive
Early morning, you will embark on 2 hour’s drive to Serengeti national park. Because of the vastness of the park and its wildlife endowment, you will conduct a game a game drive along the way to the lodge. You will therefore likely arrive by lunch time at the lodge.
In the afternoon, you will again conduct another game drive to explore the park more.
Your overnight accommodation will be at Kontiki Africa.
Day 16: Exploration of Serengeti national park
Early morning, you will immerse yourself in the natural beauty and diversity of this world-renowned reserve, as you conduct a game drive in the vast and pristine wilderness of the Serengeti National Park.
As you traverse the park, you will be privy to an incredible spectacle of wildlife, as far as the eye can see. Imagine thousands upon thousands of majestic animals in herds, including the tall and graceful giraffes, the nimble and leaping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful and majestic African elephant, and the most respected group of animals, the predators.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness the true wonder of nature and get up close and personal with some of the most magnificent creatures on earth.

Day 17: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater rim with an overnight stay in Karatu
Today, you will have the privilege of visiting the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater. You will embark on an early drive (4 hours) to Ngorongoro crater. Upon arrival at the Crater’s rim, you will embark on a thrilling descent of 610 meters into the Crater, where your safari truly comes to life. The Crater is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, eland, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelle, and the majestic giant tusked elephants. It is also known to have the largest known population of lions as well as other big cats such as leopards and cheetahs, as well as scavengers like hyenas, jackals, and the elusive wild dogs.
After driving through the caldera, we will make our way to the Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge where we will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 18: Transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your departure flight
After a relaxed breakfast, you will embark on 4 hours’ drive to Kilimanjaro airport for your departure flight.
