1. General Information

• Service Area: Mukisa Safaris Uganda arranges safaris and tours in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, and East Africa.
• Definitions: “You” or “your” refers to everyone listed on the booking form, including any future additions. “Company,” “we,” and “us” refer to Mukisa Safaris Uganda.
• Agreement: By confirming a tour or safari with us, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms.

2. Terms and Conditions Applicability

• All bookings, expeditions, and safaris are subject to these terms, which form an essential part of any agreement with us.

3. Communication and Documentation

• Official Channels: All official communication will come from our emails, info@mukisasafarisuganda.com or mukisasafarisuganda@gmail.com, with initial confirmations also sent via WhatsApp (+256745398378).
• Documentation: Invoices, vouchers, and receipts are issued on company documents, occasionally with a company seal.
• Liability: We are not responsible for losses if our communication guidelines are not followed.

4. Payment Policy

• Payment Options: Payments should be made directly to our bank account via transfer, RTGS, online, or cash.
• Deposit Requirements: A 40% deposit confirms your booking, with the balance due 60 days before your safari start date. Bookings involving gorilla or chimpanzee tracking require additional permit fees upfront.
• Full Payment: For safaris booked less than 60 days prior, 100% payment is required.
• Currency: All prices are in US Dollars, and payments should ideally be in USD.
• Cancellations and Price Adjustments: We reserve the right to refuse bookings or increase prices as needed.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellation by You: Notify us in writing if you need to cancel. Charges depend on the cancellation timing:
• 60+ days before: 45% charge
• 45–59 days: 60% charge
• 31–44 days: 70% charge
• 0–30 days: 100% charge
• Refunds are calculated after deducting permit fees, deposits, and any expenses.
• Cancellation by Us: We will only cancel due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., Force Majeure) and may offer an alternative safari or a partial refund. We recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.

6. Your Responsibilities

• Travel Preparation: Ensure you have all necessary documents for your destination. Consult a travel advisor for guidance.
• Special Requirements: Notify us of any dietary or medical needs at the time of booking.
• Safety: Follow all safety guidelines from guides and rangers, and avoid any risky behavior with wildlife.
• Conduct: Behave responsibly. We reserve the right to end your safari if your conduct disrupts others or damages the environment.

7. Safari Execution and Liability

• Animal Viewing: While we take you to popular viewing spots, we cannot guarantee animal sightings.
• Service Providers: We are not liable for issues caused by independent service providers (e.g., transport or accommodation).
• Vehicles: Although we ensure vehicles are roadworthy, we are not liable for delays, breakdowns, or any related damages.
• Loss or Damage: We are not responsible for any personal or property loss, damage, or injury.

8. Disclaimer

• We aim for accurate information on our website but cannot be responsible for any unintentional errors.

9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

• Disputes will first be addressed through mutual discussion. If unresolved, arbitration in Uganda will follow. Ugandan law governs all agreements
